Try the NEXT OLYMPIC sport

Next Olympic SportFloorball has officially been recognised by the IOC. This is an important, logical step for the sport that has seen a phenomenal growth across the globe in the last 20 years. We are proud that we as a club have done our bit to get to this level, when we started the sport in Australia in 1994.  We are the foundation club with a proud history and great successes in this country.

This is however only the start for us. To this date we are the most successful club in Australia and are building towards that Olympic dream with an absolute focus on growing floorball in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

We are currently running trial sessions for all ages and fitness levels. Floorball is safe and easy to play and I’m afraid to say slightly addictive too. Once you picked up a stick it’s very hard to put it back down. This is why Body&Soul named floorball as one of the top 8 fitness trends in 2012.

If you are keen to try the next Olympic Sport for yourself, please get in touch as we are running trial sessions throughout August and September. Qualified instructors will explain how the sport started and 5 minutes in you will be chasing that white ball like the pros. You won’t need to bring anything in particular to the session – other than your normal gym gear – we will bring the sticks and balls for you. In

The trail sessions are held Tuesday nights at Balgowlah Boys High School.

Please email us on trial@northernbeachesfloorball.com.au for further details on the trial sessions. We hope to see you there and bring you closer to that new exciting team sport. And who knows you might be the next Northern Beaches Olympian!
